    Sura 78The News/ AlNabaa.

Dear readers , we are in sura 78 The Announcement also translated as The News. النباء AlNabaa. This sura was my first journey with seeing the Quran as something to use in my daily life. The translation of the first verses to friends from different parts of the world trying to bring the taste of the Arabic into the sometimes difficult translations to the everyday English. What life lesson can you take from this sura? The power of questions in your life open you up to new things. The importance of faith that everyone will be given payback for what they do in their life, be it good or bad. What name is used for God in this sura? The Most Merciful Alrahman الرحمن , Rab your lord رب. 🎁The Most Merciful pour down your mercy and gratitude on us all🤲🎁Ameen

Lololll191 ,

Thank you

I love this podcast! Thank you so so much for taking the time to make it. May Allah reward you.

MashaAllah! ,

What is this???!!! Please read, ALL.

Bro/Sis,

This is the Quran, not a bedtime story.

Why are you playing music in the background of your readings, and why is the reader performing as if this were a children’s bedtime story complete with voices and animations?! There is also a clear stammering at words all throughout that are not clearly read, properly pronounced or seemingly understood by the reader?? This will only create confusion for the listener. There is nothing calming, or cohesive about this in the several suwar (chapters) that I listened to, I am sorry to say. I only stuck around and listened as much as I did to give fair and honest feedback because this whole presentation is worrisome to me.

Considering the reason I stumbled onto your content in the first place was because I am vetting audiobooks/podcasts of the Quran for new Muslims to help them read and learn in their native English tongue and this in idea and principle as a podcast would be very promising except the nature of this reading is animated for some reason rather than clear and calmly read, and you have music playing? Why? Really, why would you incorporate music into the background of a Quran reading, and why is your reader speaking in tones and animated voices as if this were a children’s bedtime story or some sort of cartoon?!

The whole thing is just…I don’t know what to call this. I don’t find this acceptable presentation of our Holy Book at all.

However, I will thank you and as Allah to reward your effort and care but I should think you need to reevaluate this entire approach and all of this content as well as your reader, this music, and be very clear who the translator is so students may procure and follow the book if they like, and the translation itself is written for simple and easy reading and comprehension and very accurate as translations go. I would recommend Muhsin Khan’s translation and that you redo all of this with my feedback in mind. This has great potential if done properly and with the respect and consideration deserves by the Quran Al Kareem.

Also, your reader is reading what is in implied brackets and not making any of this clear in tone or language. I am sorry but as this is, I would not use it or recommend it to new Muslims nor those looking to increase their education. I thank you again for caring and your effort in principle, but this is not okay and I sincerely hope you consider this feedback. May Allah guide us, ameen.

Thank you,
B
