Boonie can’t resist making it about him
I love this podcast but I can’t get over how Boone always has to bring the storyline back to him. Most anecdotes are interesting, but it very often kills the mojo of the conversation. The guest shares something cool but instead of asking a follow up question to take the point deeper, he steers it back to himself adding how that story relates to his career. Just wish he’d ask the follow up question to the guest so it goes deeper, but still love the podcast.
Best baseball podcast around!
If you only listen to one baseball podcast make sure it’s the Bret Boone podcast. Inside baseball podcast and Bret tells it like it is. Great guests and Bret is a natural at interviewing.
Jim Day Interview
I’ve always wondered what happened to Bret Boone. Well I was glad to catch Jim Day’s interview on Saturday during one of the innings. I was glad to hear of his Podcast he has and subscribed to it. Really enjoyed when both Bret and Aaron played for the Reds. They both brought a lot of energy and excitement to the team. Course now Bob Boone was a little before my time. A lot of baseball history with the Boone family. Their one of six third generation MLB families. Look forward to listening to Bret’s podcast.
