Great podcast, great concept
I love the artistic and cultural approach to villains taken in this podcast. Showing how a monster is conceptualized and designed as well as how that connects to the human condition is intriguing. The first episode is especially great on the human front, showing how the monster and the player identity can blend together as you play, bringing a totally new approach to gaming that I’ve experienced.
It’s also a plus that this series exposes listeners to games they may never have heard of otherwise.
The editing keeps things moving so there’s no nonsense to skip past. It’s all engaging all the way through. And the previews of the next episode keep me listening as they come!
Enjoyable look into Monsters
This is such a fun 'cast, it breathes life into monsters, that perhaps isnt' something people would have thought of. Having great guests on and their genuine conversation is enjoyable. I am appriciative of the smaller bite-sized episodes, but if in the future longer episodes were to be made, I would listen happily.
Very cool
I thought that it was great how excited you can tell everyone is to talk about their creations and all the insights that go onto that creation. It’s like this peek into why these guys do what they do and also surprisingly reflective and makes you think about just what’s around and why you may be into ttrpgs. Anyway I loved it. Sounded great
