Remember sometimes you have to step out into the water with courage and faith. It’s not easy to choose faith over fear in our parenting, but we have to learn to trust God, even when we don’t know the outcome. Remember God loves to use the ordinary to do the extraordinary. Just about every mom of the Bible teaches us this lesson, including Jochebed and Pharoah’s daughter, who was so ordinary, she is never named in the Bible. When you struggle, ask yourself these 2 questions:
Is this what is best for me or best for my child? Is this what I want or what God wants? The Challenge: Ask the Lord to give you wisdom in your parenting!
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” -James 1:5
