Episode 115: It Was The Burst Of Times

Digimon Data Squad Episodes 42 - 43. Do you like burst mode? Well you're in luck, because everyone's bursting today! Character arcs come full circle and development is dropped in a strange duo of episodes that lead us ever closer to the finish! If you thought we didn't like the Royal Knights last season, just wait until you hear what we think about a certain member featured in these episodes (spoiler: it's not great). All of that, plus a surprise reappearance by an old friend that makes us realize just how long the season has been going! And don't forget to stick around for after the credits for some discussion that's definitely podcast related!

    Episode 114: Call That Dubtext

Digimon Data Squad Episodes 39 - 41. We start our final arc of the show strong in these two episodes and come face to face with our digital god king: Marcus's dad. The Data Squad is on the back foot yet again, as we have the introduction of a fan favorite group, and have to be saved by our favorite gay weasel and the sorely missed Commander Samson. The end of the worlds are upon us, and as we run the risk of them disappearing, we tackle the important questions, like how annoying a bit can truly be and what are the best restaurants to go to as we wait to see if the end is actually inevitable!

    Episode 113: Kino

Digimon Data Squad Episode 36 - 38. This is it, the moment you (and Mina) have been waiting for, and the moment that has come to blow Sloane and Thom away. The Goat Baby has been unleashed upon Japan, and it's up to the Data Squad to come together to stop Belphemon and Kurata once and for all! Everyone is in on the action, including our favorite chessbians and the final mega. If you weren't sure Digimon sakuga was possible before, rest assured, episode 38 meets that with flying colors! If you've thought you've heard a NovaCast tangent before, well, you haven't heard anything yet! It's a farewell to Kurata, so pour one out for your favorite rat man as we prepare for the final arc of Data Squad!

Episode 112: Burstin' Makes Me Feel Bad

Digimon Data Squad Episodes 34 - 35. What's that Bancholeomon? We shouldn't use the Burst Mode? There will be horrible consequences if we do? Oh hey, cool, Marcus just activated the Burst Mode! Alongside that, we talk about Thomas's horrible betrayal, more sub/dub frustrations, incredible character names from Digimon Liberator, and goat babies. And if that's not enough for you, don't worry, we also talk about Thom's new card segment and... high school class terminology?

    Episode 111: The Weasel Prevails

Digimon Data Squad Episodes 31 - 33. We're heading back to the Human World, but not before we start diving into one of the strongest mini arcs we've experienced yet in this franchise! It's the Data Savers Squad versus the Knuckleheads in battle after battle after battle. Are we immune to Giant Woman? Are you interested in hearing our reactions to Ivan's lines in the sub? Is Mina going to mark out over Kouki's Mega form? You can get our reactions to this and even MORE, only at your local NovaCast.

Episode 110: Digisoul is the Powerhouse of the Cell

Digimon Data Squad Episodes 28 - 29. It's a new year but the same us! All the bits you know and love (and plenty that'll make you groan) as our heroes hit the big time! BanchoLeomon is back and he's here to teach us the importance of biology, or, something, as our heroes try and fix their broken Digivices. We also talk about some news that was outdated well before this episode came out, dub complaints, Rugrats sleep paralysis demons, and Kurata's evil plans ramping up at a startling clip! But hey, we've got three whole Megas to gush over, so surely everything will be ok, right?

Refreshing

I really enjoyed your take of 02. Most podcasts let it’s short comings completely detract from the good parts of it. The general discussion even though it can be critical you come out actually enjoying the rewatch.
