This week, I’ve taken on Mariah Carey’s 11th album E=MC2. The album is widely considered to be underrated by fans even though it spawned a number one single in ‘Touch My Body’. More than 12 years later, fans took it to the top of the iTunes chart spreading it on Twitter with the #JusticeforEMC2. Let’s dive in and see if justice is necessary.

For this episode we listened to Katy Perry’s fourth album Witness. Yep, the one that took her from being one of the biggest popstars in the world to the subject of a million think pieces about her flopping. It was a politically-charged, display of woke pop that came off as a little self-indulged and misinformed. We listened to see whether it’s actually good now that a few years have passed.

For the first episode, our editor Sam Murphy has listened to Paris Hilton's 2006 debut 'Paris' every day. It was the mega-socialites first foray into the music world and while many thought it was going to be a laugh, she managed to bag some hits. That’s really not enough guarantee that it’s going to be in fit shape 14 years later but we’re going to see. Here is Sam's daily diary, reacting to each day with the album.
