This woman’s husband was Labour Candidate governorship candidate in the last Anambra elections. He was kidnapped during the campaign - and she says the party lied to her that he was safe and sound.
Three years later, the party has abandoned her and told her she is on her own.
The alleged kidnappers arrested have now threatened her life. The police is refusing to give any concrete update. She doesn’t know if her husband is dead or alive; if she is a widow or not.
She has had a miscarriage. Her mother in law has come down with a heart condition. Her father in law is down with kidney disease. She is taking care of two children alone.
Eucharia Agbasimalo has severely suffered in the hands of Nigeria. But she has refused to give up.
