Great for pop culture enthusiasts
Knowledgeable and fun, one of my fave pop culture pods. Well-researched, sophisticated analysis. However I don’t care about the hosts’ personal lives and wish they would cut the often excessive personal updates from the eps.

I’m an OG listener and I’ve written a review before, but I can confidently say I’ve never loved the pod more than I do now. I can tell it’s a ton of work to do mini scroll a full episode every week, but mini scroll is an amazing format. It’s pithy and well-researched and interesting and just the right amount of information every day. Lauren, I see you and see the hard work you’re putting in. You are incredibly thoughtful in your research and I can’t imagine how long it takes to prep these episodes. My favorite episode recently was the mini scroll ep on Bumble’s anti-celibacy ads. What I loved about this episode specifically was that it showcased your special knowledge and expertise so well. No one else can talk intelligently about why this was such a bust for Bumble like you can. Watching you put in the work to make this podcast happen genuinely inspires me to pursue my passions with more care and attention. I wish you all the success and happiness.
