1999: South Park - Bigger, Longer, and Uncut
Twenty-five years ago, the most shocking and tasteless cartoon on cable television turned itself into an even more shocking and tasteless film about a shocking and tasteless cartoon that soon becomes an international incident, thanks to those adorable, shocking, tasteless little scamps Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and Cartman. It's SOUTH PARK: BIGGER LONGER & UNCUT and we're gonna g*dd**mn f**king well talk about it. #BeKindRewind

1999: All About My Mother
In a TRP first, the Rewinders are discussing film that isn't in English. Pedro Almodóvar's 1999 drama ALL ABOUT MY MOTHER was the winner of the Oscar for Best Foriegn Language Film, and the most-awarded film in the history of his native Spain. It's the story of a grieving mother, an HIV-positive pregnant nun, a transgender sex worker, a lesbian diva of the theatre, her heroin-addicted girlfriend, and getting by with a little help from your friends. #BeKindRewind

1999: Election
Twenty-five years ago, there was a three way battle for leadership between a nerd with likability issues, and good-natured goofball, and a spoiler candidate who just wanted to sow chaos. No, we're not talking about Gore, Dubya, and Nader - we're focusing on Carver High in Omaha, Nebraska, where Tracy Flick is ready for her ascension to Student Council President and her biggest nemesis seems to be not her fellow candidates, but an English teacher set on thwarting her goals. Directed by Alexander Payne and starring Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick, this ELECTION is actually fun to watch. #BeKindRewind

1999: Fight Club
We're starting our 1999 season off with a bang, if by "bang" you mean repeated punches to the head. Yes, it's David Fincher's tale of toxic masculinity and violence. We're not only going to talk about FIGHT CLUB, but we're going to spoil the hell out of it, so if you've never seen it before, you might want to give it a view before tuning into our show. #BeKindRewind

Simply The Best
I’ve followed this podcast - and it’s predecessor- from the very beginning. I never miss an episode. It’s simply terrific to listen to this group of friends talk together about some of the best movies ever made. The real gift is that it causes me to revisit these movies - watch them again - and relive the wonderful experiences that they brought the first time I had seen them. I trust Eric, Allie and Matt to inform, entertain and inspire me every time I listen to an episode. It’s simply the best.
Love this podcast
This podcast is so much fun to listen to. I enjoy hearing their perspectives on movies. Sometimes I agree and sometimes I don’t know. But I always have a great time. Keep up the good work folks!
Such Great Chemistry!
These guys are super funny and super entertaining. The hosts, Eric and Stacey, have great chemistry and offer fun insights and breakdowns of the films they watch.
I listened to the Easy A episode and loved everything they had to say! The bit at the beginning about how terrible Mel Gibson is was so good!
The banter is great, the conversation about Stanley Tucci’s body was hilarious. And I loved the discussion at the end of the review. Everyone came prepared and brought some creative ideas to the table.
My only complain is that the audio quality isn’t THAT great, but that can be easily fixed. Content wise, it’s a solid podcast and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
