Love Henry Kathman’s YouTube show
I’m willing to give this one a chance because I love Henry Kathman’s YouTube show. It’s pretty sad that the pink aisle has so few reviews and most of them are negative
love the concept & the hosts!
What a funny, lovely podcast! The hosts are charismatic and cool and seem like they’re having fun, which makes this pleasant and easy to listen to! Also, their Preminger aside/horrified realization lives rent-free in my head as a (quickly rectified and humorous after the fact) reminder about internal biases. I love how they talk about their expectations for media beforehand and then how well they engage with the stuff they watch! I sadly haven’t gotten around to listening to the Bratz/Pixie Hollow/AG/Monster High stuff yet, and I’d love more episodes on the new Barbie series and movies (I noticed a few after I wrote this and have to check them out + a deep dive into Barbie history which is SO COOL), but I’m happy they get to do what they feel like and will go along for the ride!
Literally listened to every episode
I love listening to these when I’m at work or going on walks! I’ve listened to a lot of different podcasts and I think this ones my favorite, it’s funny and interesting and goes down random rabbit holes about Mattel and movie production lore which is always interesting to me at least.
