I love it!
The production quality is excellent, the dialogue and chemistry between Jackie and Steven is great. I like that I can enjoy this without needing to know all the in-depth Star Wars lore. The world needs this!
Needed laughter
Love usually comes in short, often hilarious bursts, & so does Fan Wars, & I think that's why I enjoy it so much... Obviously if you love Star Wars & micro-fiction, this show is for you, but beyond that: laughing & loving all the ways we can be so positively opposed & still care for one another, is something we could all use a lot more of. Please listen today !!!
A BickerFlirt Delight!
I’ve never been either a Star Wars fan or a fan of hostile romance tropes — a format that has roots deep into the early days of radio dramas — but this show fully won me over! Two Star Wars fans from opposite sides of the Internet fandom take their fights to Skype, and beyond. Like the absolute best examples of this genre, the writing and acting are super sharp, even through a major but perfectly smooth casting change, and bring some much needed racial realism into the fiction podcast space. Pace is fast. Sound design is nice. I can’t wait for this show to return for a S2, and hope the creators find enough fan support to expand to a website and transcripts. Please listen.
