My favorite NYC Podcast!

Katie and Nils are so fun and relaxing to listen to. I love NYC and dream of living there, and every time I listen to this podcast I’m more and more inspired (perhaps prepared too) to be there. Awesome resource if you are considering moving or just want to learn about NYC!

Incredibly helpful

I’m a ceo of a fairly new startup with plans to expand to NYC-we’re currently in DC. In tow are my wife and 2 daughters and while we have visited and enjoyed NYC, it has always felt overwhelming to us. This podcast is making NYC feel much more doable. On the podcast I have enjoyed the balance between the exciting side and the reality side of NYC: it is doable and can be exciting; but like anything else we do in life, life in NYC is work, trial and error, etc. I found that comforting and just plain realistic. It takes the wide eyed heart shaped spectacles off of you face and says “you won’t be needing those!”
So as we consider our options for NYC, the podcast has helped us remember our top priorities again: work, opportunity, and growth. Yes fun where we can get it, but that becomes secondary. We’re not here for va-ca line every other visit to NYC.
Thank you for this great reminder!
