Annoucement: Not a break-up....just a season finale.
Thank you so much for the past several years, dear listeners. We've really enjoyed doing this and hopefully we'll do it again!
The title was inspired by the band "The Amazing Devils." Intro and outro music:

Bonus 2: Spectacle
So this was one of those times the mics got turned on and Michele ranted about spectacle vs story and got heated up about people saying theaters were the only "real way" to see a movie. Obviously this is an older conversation given Michele's discussion of movies like Dune and Spiderman

Scarecrow and Mrs King
I found your podcast by searching for my favorite show, Scarecrow and Mrs King. I watched it in it’s original run and I have the DVDs. I loved listening to someone who loves it as much as I do! I’m looking forward to listening to your other episodes.
I love this podcast ☺️
I came to Couch Buddies for their Vala/Daniel episode – seriously, I’d never heard ANYONE talk about this couple – and I stayed for the interesting in-depth conversations about movies and tv shows I’ve seen. Kia and Michelle talk about movies and shows that I’ve never had the chance to discuss with anyone else, so I love that their podcast is so thoughtful and critical and reflective, and I love that it gives me a chance to reflect, too. And I’m not even a fan of the romance genre, and because of that, I was initially unsure how I’d feel as I kept listening to the podcast past the Daniel/Vala ep, but I needn’t have worried because I ended up loving this podcast so much. They cover couples and relationships even from science fiction, fantasy, fairy tale retellings, and more, and they touch on a lot of rom-coms I grew up with and still feel fondly toward.
Also, if they haven’t yet, they should totally put the 3 hour Once Upon A Time/Glee conversation (they mentioned it in one of the early episodes) on Patreon or something.
One of my favorite movie podcasts!
Kia and Michele set such a fun, friendly atmosphere. Their episodes are equal parts informative and entertaining and they’ve introduced me to some real gems (I am now OBSESSED with Sliding Doors). It’s such a cozy podcast and I always look forward to new episodes. ❤️🥰
