The Luddites

I found this pod when I was searching for everything Luddite (after being called one)... what you have here is phenomenal. I have added to my rotation of murder pods. ♥️

Progressive talking points 101

Deeply thoughtful in unpacking progressive ideology, especially as it differs from other possible political philosophies. Have to rewind and re-listen fairly regularly as the hosts are not as dynamic in their delivery as they could be - and the episodes try to accomplish a bit too much - but the ideas are so pertinent, relevant, and moral, one can’t help but want to re-listen to best understand the arguments.

Thoughtful, systematic view of today's political injustices

Clearly biased, the hosts do an exceptional job at being thorough and as fair-minded as one could expect. If you're looking for a review of economic injustice that has an apologetic tone, The Badlands is worthy of your time. It's compelling even if it's preachy at times. The philiosophical approach ensures that things don't stay surface level and instead they review underlying assumptions that often aren't seen by people on the Left or the Right.
