Part of the conversation
Even though I’m not well versed in the comic book world, I still feel included in the conversation and enjoy being educated about genres and historical context of different comic & nerdtastic elements. The best part is the banter amongst the hosts, which really makes the listener feel part of the conversation as I find myself often commenting and enjoying participating adjunctly. The show is both intelligent and educational while still remaining humorous and real.
Great for Fair Weather Nerds
As a tangential nerd, I love the intensity the hosts bring to the podcast. I appreciate their passion for the comic book lore and how film makers tweak it for a mass audience; but, as a member of the masses, those actions pulled me into the whole Marvel and DC movie worlds. The sidekick hosts also have interesting takes on games , podcasts, and movies. The tech segment is brief but informative. The comic book focused show is truly for those fans. This a fun podcast that is wholehearted recommended for nerds and near-needs. Oh, and because of lore ignorance, loved Venom.
