    Today’s children and young adults are the future leaders and caretakers of the planet. As our planet’s environment and human consciousness are simultaneously rapidly evolving, our youth are coming in encoded with what they need to survive and thrive in an evolved world. 

    Our current leaders and most adults are set in the old ways which have been destroying our planet, and we like to pressure the children to conform to these detrimental habits and continue the harmful systems.

    For the children to break from their encoding and conform to our unsustainable ways would crush our collective soul and destroy the planet.

    In this Meditation & Healing Circle, join us to pray for our children to have strength, wisdom, integrity, perseverance, patience, and all that is needed to transform our lifestyle and culture and hold the vibration that will bring about sustainability and peace.  And for us, we ask to receive what we need to have the clarity and wisdom to understand, support, and guide them to do what they are here to do.

    Healing Guilt from the Mother-Child Relationship

    Inherent in every mother-child relationship is guilt. As a parent, we worry if we did what was needed to give our children the best chance at living a successful and fulfilling life. As a child, we wonder if we did enough to make our parents proud and give them fulfillment as parents.

    When I was 24 years old, my mother passed away from cancer. I was a gifted child with enormous potential, yet I had wild rebellious streak. I know I fell short of her hopes and dreams for me, and I caused her heartache and grief in the process. When she became ill, I blamed myself for making her life so difficult. I was sure I had played a significant role in causing her illness.

    Years later, I heard one of my spiritual teachers speak of the Mother’s Guilt – a pain that every mother carries, always wondering if she did the right things for her children, or if she could have done better.
    The struggle goes both ways. This Sunday is Mother’s Day in the US, a perfect day to bring some gentle loving kindness and healing to these places of guilt for both mother and child, to release the patterns of guilt in the Mother-Child relationship.

    The traumas of life can disconnect us from our bodies. When we experience a shock, we rebound out. We live from our heads, or we retreat inward or hide behind ourselves. We have trouble being our authentic selves in relationships or expressing our thoughts clearly in work environments.

    Sound vibration is really helpful for breaking up stuck energies to release old patterning and blocks from the body, and it's also helpful for getting yourself back into your body, connected with your core authentic self. 

    There are specific sounds which can help us reconnect and anchor into our bodies, regardless of how long ago the traumas occurred. 

    In this Meditation & Healing Circle, we work with a sequence of Sacred Sounds to ground into our bodies and become the solid powerful presence that feels natural and on point with who we are meant to be.

    Release Effects of Trauma using Sacred Sound

    In this Meditation & Healing Circle, we focus on releasing the effects of trauma from the body. We use Sacred Sounds to open the throat and reclaim the voice. We release constriction from the upper chest, throat, jaw, face, and head, returning us to our original knowing of ourselves as beings of light.
     
    April is Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Whether you have experienced traumas directly related to these topics or not, we all hold trauma responses in our nervous systems. 
    With a national focus on such abuses, this is a good time to tap into the collective intentions and bring release and healing to those places that are wanting to let go.   

    For the remainder of April, we'll be using Sacred Sound to release and heal old traumas and restore our hearts and nervous systems, so mark your calendar to join us each Sunday.
     
    Next week, April 21, we focus on coming back into the body, centering and grounding. Then on April 28, we focus on healing for the heart. So be sure to join us live on Sundays.
