An entertaining look into creative minds

Shane is a skillful interviewer. His questions are interesting and relevant to his subjects but are not often dry like much of the standard interview fare that’s out there. He does not frequently interrupt as they speak or talk over them but rather, adds to the conversation, which is what a good interview show should do. He allows the person to be the star of the show, not making every reply or comment about something he did or how something affects him. The creative minds he speaks with are usually engaging and candid about their work and quite often charming characters that are easy to listen to. There is great “back and forth” between him and the guest. A great show for those truly interested in artists of all sorts; always engaging.

Makes a self taught artist feel less alone

This podcast feels like my own personal art therapy, so many of my creative anxieties are eased hearing more experience artists speak about the very same worries. So much good advice and great interviews, I highly recommend to any artist of any level of experience!

Great podcast!

Some of the interviews are awesome. The DFE community is worth joining and I really dig hearing the different perspectives of the different artists Shane interviews.
