Bro
Bro u made a choice to play control. And they are choosing to not concede. Like claiming they are holding u hostage??? U have agency. U can choose to not play control. They didn’t call ur choice to play control rude did they???
Great except for Spencer
Mason and Abe are great but the podcast would be better if the sweaty guy they call Spencer wouldn’t interrupt what they’re saying literally every time they try to speak for more than 30 seconds. Seriously if I was his friend I would pull them aside and tell him to bite your tongue and let other people speak for more than a minute before you start over running them with your garbled speech that sounds like you haven’t finished chewing your mouth full of chicken wings. Seriously dude speak 50% less in the podcast would be listenable.
Always Improving
I have to say, this podcast brings a much different vibe than the other MtG pods out there. A lot of vulnerability, they talk about the personal parts of the pursuit of improvement in the hobby, and the emotional side of it all. Also bring great insight, although generally more focused than most on the broader aspects of improvement rather than format specific (although there’s plenty of meta specific analysis too).
Can be kind of a heavy listen, honestly, but definitely doing something valuable and different than other people in the space.
