We’re taking the concept of a fashion makeover and applying it to startup pitches. Entrepreneurs pitch, we talk, and then we share what they should keep, delete, and, possibly, more importantly, add to their pitch. Our goal: help #morevoices, as Rihanna says, shine bright like the diamonds that they are. Are you ready for your pitch makeover?

    We're back... TOMORROW!

    We're back... TOMORROW!

Pitch Makeover returns Tuesday, March 19 with a mini-season recorded at the Native Women's Business Summit.
    Transcript:
Hey everyone it’s Gina Delvac, executive producer of Pitch Makeover. Starting TOMORROW Tuesday March 19 we’ll be back with a mini season featuring entrepreneurs Natalia met at the 2018 Native Women’s Business Summit. One of the updates you will notice in this new season of Pitch Makeover is thanks to Anisa Flowers, an enrolled Woodland Cree Tribal Member and Chief of Staff at Pipeline Angels.

We have introduced a land acknowledgement at the start of each episode, and we're grateful for Anisa's guidance on this practice, which we will continue in future seasons. The Native Women's Business Summit was held and these episodes were recorded on Pueblos land (known as Albuquerque due to white colonizers). To learn more and find out whose stolen land you're on, search for the Native Land app.

This year’s Native Women’s Business Summit is coming up April 5th and 6th at Isleta Resort and Casino in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tickets and more info at nativewomenlead.org

Come catch the first episode of our mini season TOMORROW, March 19. We'll talk to you then.

Great show!

I love the great concept. The feedback she gives makes a huge difference- as seen in the revised pitches. As a full-time entrepreneur, pitching is a large part of the job. So with this podcast, I’m taking notes on ALL the feedback on how to sharpen my pitch!

Also, I really appreciate how the hosts hold space for the entrepreneurs. People don’t do that enough. This is a very rare find.

Welcome back

So excited to hear this podcast return to the airwaves. Natalia is a fantastic coach. The focus and dedication to underserved communities is remarkable. Having sat at the table with other VCs, Natalia brings a wealth of knowledge of what VCs want to hear in pitches. Hope every entrepreneur will listen and learn. Welcome back Pitch Makeover!

Fun and informative

Thank you for this excellent show! Being new to the social enterprise scene, it's so helpful and motivating to hear other pitches and expert feedback on them. Love the concise and clear format, too. Keep the episodes coming.
