Good Topic/Great Hosts
An interesting analysis of 80s Marvel characters through the eyes of hosts who have no idea who any of these people are but have a great time doing it
A fun romp through the classic Marvel lore book
An original podcast that highlights the absurdity of the Marvel universe through the eyes of everyday people. I never knew characters like Bushmaster or the Blob needed to be reviewed under such parameters, but I’m glad somebody finally did it.
You’ll never look at your favorite Marvel characters the same way again
First, this podcast is not for kids. They don’t always work blue, but they somehow manage to be at their most prurient whenever someone else is in my truck to hear it. So it isn’t 100% clean, but it’s hilariously funny and it weirdly makes me feel better about the world. The ladies’ positive outlook, and the way they value things like humility, kindness, and a sense of adventure always encourage me. I genuinely get excited every time I see a new episode has dropped.
Siskoid (AKA Mike) is the audience proxy in the room, as long as the audience is composed of middle-aged males who know way too much about eighties superhero comics. So for me, he’s a perfect stand-in. Anyway, 10 out of 10 podcast.
