2023 Scene Showdown Part 2 Featuring Jake Whalen of Pyro, Ohio

Warning This is a music/comedy/entertainment podcast, so no need to be so serious Warning

Welcome to a brand new episode of Ian’s Untitled Scene Show! This episode is Part 2 of the fan-favorite 2023 year-end SCENE wrap-up show featuring Jake Whalen of Pyro, Ohio!

Listen to Part 1 here (or you’ll be pretty lost, haha)

After the Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse cliffhanger of Part 1, it’s time for Part 2! I mean, it starts RIGHT AWAY! Jake and I continue our 2023 Scene conversation with the BEST ALBUMS AND WORST ALBUMS (plus more)! There’s a lot to go over to finish off 2023, so you should probably continue listening now

Corrections: The band’s name is When Wild Dingos Attack, not Where. The Boston band I was thinking of was A Loss For Words. Also, Paramore’s new 2023 albums should have been on the Worst list. I’ll make it up to you next year

Make sure to support Pyro, Ohio, in all they do! And don’t forget to listen to ‘Of Shadows and Substance’ repeatedly! Check out all the ways to support them below:

Hands down the best music podcast out there. Ian has amazing artists on, and always engages in genuine conversations.

Truly one of the best shows out there!

This has been such an incredible find. As a listener of hardcore music, it's kinda hard to find new bands or new music since it's not very mainstream. But that's where this podcast comes in. The hosts and their guests seem to be fountains of knowledge, and just in the few episodes I've made it through, I've added 20 hours of music to my playlist. Such great insight into a part of the industry that doesn't get a lot of attention. Very worth your time, and I'm a permanent listener!

Best show.

Name a show better... I will wait...
