Phenomenal content

Mike Badger produces the highest quality podcast, filled with great information and personal experiences from brooder management all the way through processing and sales. There are only 3 podcast that I listen to on a regular basis, Pastured PoultryTalk, a homestead related one and the the Fighting Farmer podcast with Mike and Terrell Spencer which I also recommend highly. Mike and Spence sometimes overlap content but it’s worth listening to twice. I’ve been raising poultry for home use for over 20 years and recently took the plunge into commercial production but I’m still learning something new from each podcast Mike puts out. If you are at all interested in poultry production, I highly recommend this podcast.

Detailed and thorough

Thanks to the in-depth discussions, I almost always rethink my approach to our backyard flocks and follow the detailed show notes. The large-scale farm discussions also provide food for thought. Mike’s enthusiasm for good practices and management, encourages me to improve.
