Dealing with a Leftist Dipsomaniac: The United States and Ecuador’s Carlos Arosemena

As the United States continued to worry about potential leftist revolutions across the region, Ecuador became a setting for this battle over hearts and minds.

Fascinating interviews, poor audio quality

I subscribed to this podcast after hearing about it from the ADST newsletter. While it seems to be a fairly new podcast, I find the oral history interviews fascinating. However, the audio quality is poor in two areas: there is too much background noise and the speaker’s voices are not very clear. The interviewer tends to ask too many leading questions. Also, the intro and ending sequence quality vary greatly. Some of the podcasts have a clean, professional sounding intro, others sound like a wonky experiment….
