Expert and practical advice on a wide variety of topics that are essential in leadership. As someone who transitioned from self-employment to elementary education and now into educational leadership, I didn’t know what I didn’t know. I have had to learn so much about effective leadership and this podcast is an incredibly valuable resource for that!

2 items make everything possible. 1. Knowledge and 2. practice. 1. In the same way executives want high level data, Tom breaks down information presents details as backup. It makes the knowledge available. 2. Practice can only be done in small bits. Out of the ten podcasts I have sampled, Tom’s are the most concise. I can try implementing tips. The comparison in podcasts some others are an hour or more, versus Tom’s 15 minutes or less. For the same tips! P.s. I tried using Tom’s label guide to write this review. Hahaha!

I’ve been listening to Tom’s show for 15 years and he never fails to impress me with his breath of wisdom and practical advice. What a brilliant format: capture a coaching session with a leader and then highlight lessons and frameworks in that interaction that listeners can use immediately in their own work. I point people to Tom’s episodes more than any other podcast. Thank you for Tom continuing to support us all through your wisdom and generosity.
