When journalist Cornelia Rowe unexpectedly returned to her hometown of Nashville, she began looking into the strange death of a former schoolmate named Leigh Terry. Those close to Leigh immediately raised questions about the circumstances surrounding her death, as she had become involved with a group of powerful local men known for their money, influence and rich history of scandals and corruption. Upon investigating, Cornelia quickly discovered a darker, more complicated side of Music City. With a vibrant setting and cast of eccentric characters, Once Upon a Time in Nashville is a story of a suicide and its shocking ramifications, as well as a story about the city of Nashville–how a rough-and-tumble small town on the Cumberland River has become a big, shiny city that is still heavily influenced by an old guard and Southern secrets. Beginning Thursday, May 23rd, you can listen to weekly episodes of Once Upon a Time in Nashville wherever you subscribe to podcasts.NEW EPISODES EVERY THURSDAY.

One of the best of 2024!

As a frequent visitor to Nashville (long before it was en vogue) I loved this podcast and the story telling about one of my fave cities, as I love Southern Gothic tales! At first Cornelia’s lisp upended me, but it grew on me and I’m actually a fan now.
Waste of time

Not a sympathetic character in this story. Lots of rumors and speculation from a bunch of drunks with no mystery solved in the end. Don’t waste your time on this.
Loved it but wanted more!

The S town format kept me interested and wanting to hear more however, the story of Leigh Terry just sort of ended and the focus switched to Judge Moreland, then it was over. I would have liked more closure for the part involving Leigh Terry. It was really good though and definitely worth listening to!
I was really into it until Shawn Taylor showed up

As a native who is familiar with some of the players and followed the LT case closely, I was impressed with the amount of content and listened enthusiastically until Millersville’s own corruption nightmare, Shawn Taylor, was interviewed. So disappointing.
