At 25, Hannah’s life begins falling apart. An anonymous intruder has made her phone her enemy. Aided by the technology we all rely on, this intruder is watching Hannah, threatening her, even pretending to be her. Feeling increasingly unsafe, Hannah goes to the police, but they can’t stop it. Worse, they don’t even recognise it for what it is: stalking. Hannah doesn’t know for sure who is behind it all, but she suspects an older man she met more than two years earlier at London Fashion Week. Initially, he claimed to have been hacked. Even today, he disputes stalking her. To make sense of what’s happening Hannah turns to a woman she’s known since she was seven years-old, and who also happens to be an investigative journalist. Jamie Bartlett, host of the hit podcast The Missing Crypto queen, is back with another gripping, investigative serial. When they discover Megan is in a Disney resort rather than a US hospital, they decide to hire a private detective to prove Megan is faking her illness–and expose the truth to the world. But events take an unexpected turn. And the internet sleuths-who are all parents of seriously ill children themselves-begin to wonder if they've got it all wrong. "It wasn't meant to end like this," says one. This podcast provides great coverage on some lesser covered stories and countries around the world. But, way too much of it is solely about Trump. As an American I am so tired of hearing about Trump’s every move, and am struggling to find news coverage that doesn’t resolve around him constantly. When this podcast doesn’t, it is excellent. Less of him please!

I'm obsessed with The Global Story. It's the perfect complement to the Global News Podcast. I listen every day, and it's been a great (and far superior) substitute for the Economist's regular podcasts, which have recently been hidden behind a paywall. As a long-time BBC listener, I continue to be so grateful for the company's objective international journalism and broad coverage of important issues, as well as its enduring principle that everyone deserves access to important news about the world around them, regardless of their individual ability to pay for it.

Why should anyone compare themselves to others? Life giving and altering behaviors aren’t chat fodder, but personal. The window of time about 15 to 50 when hormones help define you are precious and a person should find their way and cherish life but this doesn’t need to be broadcast. There isn’t any competition with you being you.
