Hammered Heroes (And Villains) takes a deep dive look at the best performances by professional athletes while they were drunk, on drugs, or horribly hungover. Each week, comedians Brendan Fitzgibbons and Sophie Santos discuss a game or incident that focuses on an athlete’s mind-blowing performance despite being extremely hammered. Whether it's the Bulls' "Traveling Cocaine Circus," David Wells’ infamous half-drunk perfect game, Wade Boggs' 73-beer binge on a cross-country flight, and Charles Barkley playing drunk after day drinking because…well…I guess you’ll have to listen to find out! We’ll raise a glass to the very best in inebriated athletics. It's Drunk History meets 30 for 30 meets Jackass.

I oddly feel very important that you just read my review on your podcast! I’m actually not an old man, but a woman that you’d probably consider old (I just turned 49 😐). My name is Aimee Harmelink & my son was born on 03/20. Grew up outside of D.C., went to UNC for graduate school & interned in Charlotte. D.C. got so expensive and trafficy, so I moved to Raleigh. I just think that Charlotte is a great happy medium. Love, love, love you guys!! So hilarious!!! I write on behalf of a corporation for a living, so yeah, I don’t typically write more causally. Finally, I’m a lifelong Commanders fan and ALL of us are so excited that Danny finally has to sell the team (and I always thought they should change their name). Go Commies!!! Uh, I mean Commanders. Great job! Keep it going!!

Many I know have moved from tcrowded and unreasonably expensive CA to NC. I get it that he played there and is richer than almost all of us. But, Charlotte is actually pretty cool.
