Nate and Jess had the privilege to meet a family member for the first time. Spring Woodson, Nate's sister he has never met, sent her son to Utah to have a visit. It was an awesome week, full of great food, planning for Nate's retirement in Louisiana, and opening doors to connecting to family, finally, after so many years of not making that connection. It was very wild to see how much Micah and Nate have in common, and how Micah was the perfect person to come to Utah and do some recon for Spring and her family. The next time you see us, we'll be at Lake Ashwaganda in Eastern Alabama soaking up to sun and catching some bass. 

Nate and Jess finally sit down and drop a banger of an episode. They talk about 2023 and some highlights with the family, sporting events, kids sports, new assignments, and the wild life they live as a Lord family. 

On 9/11/23 Jason Mazuran and Doug Lambert visit the BHOTC and share their stories about "where they were" on 9/11 and we talk about the impact of that day on a micro level. 
Then we get into the crazy adventure of going from investigating "dirty drugs" to having to change their entire investigative process to begin to infiltrate the Club Drug scene in Salt Lake County and how it had national impacts at the turn of the century!
