    Episode 6: Quentin Gladstone

    Episode 6: Quentin Gladstone

We pick up the story with Terrance chasing new leads, while he plays back the tale of a previously unknown Sugar Maple owner, Quentin Gladstone—an unhoused young man who found community and purpose with a welcoming church and its charismatic minister, Solomon Randolph. But when Randolph puts the untrained Quentin in charge of the gospel music for his grand revival, Sugar Maple unleashes a frightening higher power that forces Quentin away from his found family, in terror and shame.

    Episode 5: Belinda Rose

    Episode 5: Belinda Rose

As Terrance drives to Atlanta to follow a new lead, he recounts the story of Belinda Rose, a Nashville country singer who delivered a single 70s hit, written on Sugar Maple, which her duplicitous boyfriend won in a poker game. Why did Belinda Rose leave the country just as her star was rising? Why do people close to Sugar Maple keep disappearing? And why is Terrance growing certain that the murdered Thread Tree is using Sugar Maple to end the world?

So intriguing!

This is my first fictional podcast and I LOVE IT! What a captivating story. It is such a unique concept that is compelling me to WANT MORE!
Tom Marshal and all the Osiris Team responsible for this should be very proud!
Maybe the next fictional podcast will include a trip to Get More Down on Knuckle Bone Avenue as we follow the timeline into the future or music!
Thank you Osiris for so much entertainment over the last few years. I honestly don’t listen to any other podcasts but yours!!! Blaze on!

I cannot get into it

This type of storytelling works for a journalist. I can tell what they are going for, but it just doesn’t land with a fictional story. Each time I am enjoying the story Fred Savage pops in with “it’s not just their story it’s OURS.” I got through 1 1/2 episodes and the quoted was said more than 5 times. Maybe it’s just not for me.

Incredible accomplishment

This podcast is an incredible accomplishment. It traces the history of popular music, from honky-tonk to Motown to heavy metal, weaving a compelling storyline throughout. It features stunning original music that makes me truly appreciate genres I never really even listened to before. All of the performances are stellar, the storyline is incredible, and it’s completely professionally produced. Tom Marshall and all involved ought to be enormously proud of their work here. Well done!
