Are Financial Advisors Worth it for Physicians?

Are Financial Advisors Worth it for Physicians?

You’ve been waiting for it all this time.
So here we are, on our 67th episode - here comes the shameless self promotion.
Right? I mean what advisor doesnt think they are worth it.
Well not only do we believe we are worth it, we can prove it.
On today’s show, Nate and Ben share three ultra-simple moves that are so basic and so valuable that even super-smart physicians often miss out.
And this missing out costs you multiples of what you might pay a decent advisor.
    But wait, there's more!
Beyond the dollar-on-dollar benefits that come from hiring a good advisor, there is stuff you get for “free” that makes great advisors totally worth it.
Tune in to hear Nate squeeze so much value out of his co-host that Ben actually slips into falsetto.
It’s totally worth the listen (by the way, it’s free).

    Well, we do.
As our in house college planning specialist, Nate Reineke has written college plans to help the physician moms and dad we serve send more than 300 children to college.
So maybe your colleagues don’t talk to you about college but we hear about it all the time.
At least three things we hear regularly cause us concern.
Are you thinking these same three things?
Listen in as Nate and Ben tell all in this thought provoking episode.

Demystifying Defined Benefit Plans with Courtenay Shipley

If something seems too good to be true, it probably is (not?)
When physicians hear that they could save tens of thousands of dollars in taxes by utilizing a Defined Benefit Plan for retirement saving, it sounds like a pipe dream.
Before you write this retirement savings tool off, think of it like this:
If something seems too good to be true, it probably is for most.
But if you are a high earning physician this tax savings dream could become a reality.
In today’s episode, Nate interviews guest Courtenay Shipley, the founder of Retirement Planology, to better understand Defined Benefit Plans and if they are right for you.

Wise and Genuinely Caring

Physician Family Advisors really understand personal finance for physicians deeply. They are educators that break it down in an understandable way, and are truly passionate about the material. You can tell in all they do that they genuinely care about providing solid financial frameworks for families…something that is so rare in the industry.
I write this as a physician who’s benefited greatly from the team’s knowledge and input. I hope more physicians start listening regularly.
