Making Investing Simple

Peter is a practical genius! In each episode of The Long Term Investor he uses examples that I can easily relate to. His fact based approach helps put emotion aside and invest more confidently. I definitely recommend this podcast whether you are 16 or 61!

Note- when Peter says he responds to emails, he means it! He also took the time to speak to call me about my questions with no selling. I’m sleeping better at night with less worrying over money matters.

Episode 73 with Andrew Berlin, PhD

Peter’s podcast interviewing Andrew Berkin, really distills the flaws in long term active management of investment dollars. It is not a pretty way to underperform. The podcast makes a compelling case for passive management that wins with broad index and index factor funds, sound diversification, and low costs. Listening to the podcast is time well spent especially if you keep shifting your portfolio to follow the last “hot” money manager of the day.
