    #3 What an Ayahuasca Psychedelic Trip Taught me About Life

    #3 What an Ayahuasca Psychedelic Trip Taught me About Life

    In this raw episode I am interviewed by my friend Ronan to discuss my experience with Ayahuasca. I recalls how my only trip was potent enough to open my eyes in a new way to see the reality of life in a different way. It was a before and after experience as it fundamentally shifted how I viewed others, and how I understood myself. Upon reflection, I've realized I am too judgemental and makes assumptions about others without factoring in their life experience – or his own. The biggest lesson I've received is that life is an emotional experience and there is no good or bad. Only I who judges makes the experience so. Ultimately, everyone is on their life journey – and we have the power to influence the journey itself.

    In this episode we discuss:

    How to be open minded to challenge perceptions of yourself – and the world around you;
    Using intention when taking a trip. Consider how your thoughts and decisions align with your values. Ground yourself and reflect on how your personal experience shapes you;
    How to find gratitude in the everyday of life and bring meaning in your relationships. Life is an emotional experience: there is no good – and there is no bad.

    #2 No HYPE Investing 101 - Psychology of Money and Investing

    #2 No HYPE Investing 101 - Psychology of Money and Investing

     In this podcast, I will give you a simple “guide” on how to find the best investment strategy for your personal circumstances and learn more about the psychology when dealing with money and investing. I will reference lots of points from a book I highly recommend to read or listen on this subject - Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel. The premise of this book is that doing well with money has a little to do with how smart you are and a lot to do with how you behave. You can also read this article to give you the overall summary - https://www.collaborativefund.com/blog/the-psychology-of-money/

    Investing is about understanding human behavior. What is your experience with money and your relationship with it?

Your PLASTIC-FREE prompt

Hi Alex, just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and Mimi for all that you bring to both of your podcasts. After listening to y’all’s prompt in your other podcast to try and make everyday products that we love plastic-free, it got me so excited and inspired. Then I came to this podcast and listened to your episode on capital vs labor. WOW! What an amazing concept that is truly not taught often, so thank you for sharing. That advice pushed me to start developing my first plastic-free revision of a common product, which will have its first iteration done in a couple of weeks. Again, I can’t say thank you enough! I feel like y’all are my older brother and sister that I can always turn to for advice, and I’m super grateful for that.

Thank you

Alex, thank you for sharing what I believe to be the most empowering message you can share with someone right now - how to empower oneself owning capital to produce things of value for the world.
