Customer Reviews
Remarkable info, insights, and human understanding
Brian Ray is an exceptional musician not only because he commands great technical proficiency, but also because he sees the nature of musical collaboration and membership in bands in generous and enthusiastic, human terms. This is one of the most constructive podcasts out there. Brian is an exceptionally skilled interviewer because he is knowledgable, enthusiastic, and genuinely interested. At a time when most so-called interviewers mostly steer their guests towards preconceptions or familiar ideas, Brian opens things up and elicits new, unexpected, and really meaningful comments from his guests. And wow, does he know everything about his profession and the people in it — yet he’s never heavy handed, never lectures, and never, ever toots his own horn. This podcast is pure gold.
Brian Ray !!!
By far one of the best, insightful , first hand views through the lens of Brian. His interaction with his guests is what every music fan wants to hear. His questions are from someone who has the experience to draw the best from all of his guests. It’s not fluff - it’s real. Love this. Congrats Brian !
