Can you be Angry with Aloha?

Can you be Angry with Aloha?

As of result of my recent challenges in life, I have been dealing with a lot of emotions and going through a variety of attitudes. I began to build a stronger relationship with God and through that process, I have learned that attitude is a choice. Its ok to get angry, but we decide to stay angry or to not. This is just one perspective of the attitude of Aloha. I hope you can relate to some of this as I speak from someone learning as I go. I do not speak as someone who is wise and understands how to deal with lifeʻs struggles. Have a blessed day.

    Telling Stories with Aloha

    Telling Stories with Aloha

Storytelling is an art. Someone once told me that "storytelling is the fabric to our culture." But with the privilege of sharing stories comes great responsibility to do it the right way. What does that mean? In this episode, I bring on my first guest to the show. Her name is Kanoelani Davis, a native to the island of Molokaʻi. She shares her manaʻo (thoughts) on someone sharing stories of Molokaʻi and what that may means. In a greater scale, what are the thoughts behind how Hawaiʻi is being advertised as a visitors destination. What stories are being shares and/or not shared? This is a great conversation and topic to ponder over. There may be a lot of thoughts and questions that stem from this episode, but that's the point.
