The finale is finally here and as expected, Bill is sleeping on the couch mad at Elena. We find out that Elena told Pearl that Mia lied about her father being dead. We get to the final days of the trial and BeBe’s lawyer goes at Linda but not hard enough because Linda wins the case. Moody ends up finding Trip and Pearl at his secret hideout. The brothers fight it out and everyone loses. Bill reveals that he knows Elena was with her ex twice during their marriage. Meanwhile, after Elena finds out that Lexi has an abortion, she starts to spin out and decides to tell Izzy she never wanted her and she runs away. After that, we find out who starts the little fires everywhere and it’s all of the kids. When the police question Elena, she takes the hit and tells them she did it. Mia and Pearl end up at her parents for Pearl to meet them for the first time. As for the Richardsons, we hope there is a season 2 for us to find out what happens to them!

This episode took place entirely in the past exposing us to everything that led Elena and Mia to where they are today. Elena finds herself back to work after having her third child, Moody. After getting excited about being back in the game, she finds out that she’s pregnant with Izzy and is not happy about it. When she had Izzy, her life was in total chaos and runs off to find her ex, Jamie. After coming to her senses a little too late, she returns home and settled with what her life will continue to be, whether she likes it or not. Meanwhile, Mia is exploring her new life in NYC with an older women, Pauline, who ends up being the photographer of the infamous bath photo. When Mia hears that the budget was cut for her college tuition, she agrees to carrying a baby for an unable couple to pay for school. While pregnant, Mia finds out about her brother, Warren, and Pauline’s separate deaths. Having to face her parents as a pregnant woman, she decided to keep the baby, Pearl. The episode ends with watching Pearl grow up in her mom’s car.

In a flashback, we found out Elena spent a semester abroad in Paris and had an unexpected breakup with her boyfriend Jamie, who chose to stay there. Back to present day, Elena finds out that Izzy has been going to Mia’s behind her back. Meanwhile, Lexi discovers she’s pregnant and ends up getting an abortion, listing Pearl as her patient name. Against Bill’s request, Elena rushes to NYC to investigate Mia’s past through the portrait of her in the New York Times. She reunited with Jamie to help her and when she asks him to go back to her hotel, he puts her in her narcissistic place. After Mia tells Lexi how she really feels about her, Pearl admits to Mia that she had sex with Trip. Trip and Pearl then meet at a park where he declares that she’s different than any other girl. We close the episode with Elena finding Mia’s parents and they tell her that the baby she’s pregnant with in the photograph wasn’t her baby.

It’s Halloween time and everyone has different plans. The kids are at a party, Izzy breaks into Mia’s to do artwork and Elena tracks Mia to the chinese restaurant. When Elena officially finds out that Mia is involved in BeBe’s party crashing, it’s on. Elena goes on to visit BeBe where she tries to bribe her to not take Linda and Mark to court for the baby. When that goes haywire, Elena ends up telling Mia that she’s a terrible mother and they have it out, ending their working relationship. BeBe shows up at Mia’s and she agrees to get the money to help get her daughter back by selling the photograph that means the most to her. Pearl sneaks out and runs to stay the night at Elena’s with Mia soon to follow her. Things are not going well for Pearl, since she hooked up with Tripp and he yelled at her afterwards, he’s now avoiding her. Mia and BeBe have their first appointment with their lawyer. They took the story to the local news and everyone was exposed. We end with Mia’s newest art piece, her lighting an image of Elena on fire.

We started this episode finding out what’s really going on with Bebe, Mia’s co-worker. Mia promises her to help her find her daughter, no matter what. While Mia helps Elena set up for her friend’s baby’s birthday party, she slowly finds out that the baby could be Bebe’s. While the adults party set up, the kids are all getting ready for the homecoming dance. Lexi decides to share her essay with her boyfriend, who doesn’t believe the story is her own. Even though Lexi knows it’s not, she gets mad at him for not believing her. Throughout the episode Brian learns that the story is really Pearl’s and is on the verge of breaking up with Lexi because of it. Izzy is getting bullied at school. Elena finds out and is trying to investigate why. When we finally get to the birthday party, Mia confirms that the baby is Bebe’s and rushes to her house to tell her. Bebe aggressively crashes the birthday party screaming that it’s her baby and ends up getting arrested. The episode ends with Izzy getting on a bus by herself after the dance with only seventy cents.
