Feels like home
Shivam is such a good interviewer that each episode sounds like a conversation between old friends. The podcast literally feels like home/safe space.
Mediocre show that could be great
Shivam is likeable, but he is a bad interviewer. His questions are often boring and basic, leading to a lot of interviews being “here is my life story before Magic” which just isn’t interesting most of the time. I do not care where someone went to college or their mundane job before Magic. Often when the guest has finally said something interesting about our game he interrupts for a rant, sometimes even a recycled rant. Mediocre show, but it could be great.
Lovable
Shivam is totally charming and lovable. He gets really good guests to come on his show. He’s not a pro player, nor does he have pro aspirations. Just someone who loves the game a lot. I am glad that he’s here to represent that kind of player.
I have to crank up the volume extremely high on this podcast. More than my other ones, like the command zone. Something is wrong with the volume level.
