Onward to the City of Design!

Detroit - the only UNESCO City of Design in the United States and among just a few in the world - has always hit well above its weight in the influence of design, first reshaping the landscape of North America - and then the world. The epicenter of midcentury modernism, Detroit has always been a place that looks to the future and has never been afraid to experiment. This podcast promises to tease out how design not just defines products but also has the power to define place and to help people.
