Family is great and so is having a life-long romantic partner, but friends do so much of the heavy lifting throughout our lives so who we choose to remain close with means A LOT. That said, people are complex by nature and evolve overtime, so friendships that ebb and flow are just a part of life. In today's episode, Emma chats about the roles friends play in your life, how to navigate shifts in the friendship, when it's time to "break up" with a toxic friend or just let it fizzle, and shares some of her anecdotes about her best friends over the years. Whitney is a Swiftie and has seen her three times in concert, whereas Emma is more Swiftie adjacent and this was her first time seeing her live, and they both have thoughts.
