There's a force at work that keeps you from being you. We feel it, too. It's the reason we avoid making the call, the reason we put off the diet. It's why we've done nothing about that entrepreneurial idea, that creative endeavor, that new relationship. In his book The War of Art, Stephen Pressfield defines this universal force as Resistance. Welcome to The Resistance, a new podcast featuring honest interviews with creative persons about this force and the forms it takes.

I Can’t Resist This Podcast!

Even when I have no clue who is being interviewed I end up not only learning about them but about myself as well. This has much to do with Matt Connor’s hosting ability. He knows how to as a great question (notice how many of those being interviewed agree) and even more importantly he can really follow up with and impromptu question that unearths insights that even the guests appreciate. Podcasters could learn loads from Matt’s master class each episode!

Real Conversations with Inspiring Artists

Each episode I’ve listened to helps me connect with the artist, but also my own inner thought life. It’s like a self-help podcast for artists. Really thoughtful questions and answers—definitely worth a listen!
