Christopher Robin!
I’ve loved listening to this podcast, it is great fun, so I’m giving it five stars. However, I must say that I don’t agree with their review of Christopher Robin. At all. Not one bit. 🤷🏼♀️
Christopher Robin was a beautiful film, highlighting family, imagination, and innocence. My kid siblings, my parents and I all loved and enjoyed this film. It is not dull or boring, and I’ve heard from a variety of people and ages who enjoyed Christopher Robin. I’m just throwing this out there so that listeners aren’t deterred from a fabulous movie. :)
I LOVE Christopher Robin
So, I’ve only listened to one episode and it’s great fun, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed it.
However, I am a little mad, because they happen to be tearing apart a movie that is very dear to me; Christopher Robin.
It was such a simple, beautiful, innocent movie, I can’t imagine anyone actually thinking that it was a failure or clunky or that no kid would like it. My brother and sisters(ages 7, 10, 14) love it. Not to mention my parents and adult sisters. I never watched the original Winnie the Pooh as a kid, so it’s not nostalgia or sentiment. It was simply an amazing movie.
Funny thing is, I disliked Mary Poppins. It was bizarre and odd. The songs are quite forgettable and overall it was only “bleh”
Apparently we all have different tastes😜
Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that they should feel free to watch Christopher Robin, not everyone brutally hates it:)
A fun podcast for film lovers
The Rabbit Room Podcast Network is full of good stuff, but this mayyyyy legit be my favorite. Even though I haven't seen most of the films they've talked about, I love listening to Pete and John analyze, celebrate, and sometimes argue about movies. (Spoiler Alert: sometimes they have opposite opinions, but they aren't rude about it)
