Fine work.

A beautiful performance by all of the perennial classic, with excellent sound design; five stars.

Probably fantastic if you already know Macbeth by heart

Having only read Macbeth once several years ago, I was completely lost as to what was even happening since I only remember high level detail of the story. This is probably an amazing podcast if you know the story inside and out and don’t need any kind of context. I guess I’ll go listen to a narrated version then come back to this after.

Amazing sound... hard to follow dialogue

I really enjoyed the production quality of Part 1. The sound was amazing! Unfortunately, that amazing sound made it hard for me to follow the dialogue. I have minor hearing loss, but normally am able to follow audio dialogue on podcasts/radio. I do struggle with following dialogue on movies or tv shows—I need captioning to help clear up words over the background noises. Having read Macbeth several times (and used the black spot monologue as a go-to for drama auditions), I still struggled to follow the dialogue even when I knew what people should be saying. Along that vein, I struggled to keep track of which voice was which character.

All in all, amazing production quality... but perhaps at the expense of dialogue clarity.

I will continue to listen to the other parts, if only to enjoy the overall experience. I’ll have to break out my copy of the play and follow along.
