She decided to leave the finance industry after her second son was born, to live ‘the creative life’ and can now happily say she's a painter.   As well as paintings on canvas, Sonal likes to paint on any surface that she feels needs to be beautified. This naturally led her to the world of surface pattern design. Sonal usually starts with a painted or hand drawn motif and then digitally develops the artwork to create bold and colourful designs for products and textiles.
