Fight For Together

This podcast is wonderful for those with open minds or those who are trying to be more open-minded. I have gained so many life lessons and new perspectives from listening to Ben and Kami. One of my goals for last year was to work on genuinely understanding thoughts and ideas that are different from my own. I found myself harshly judging “the other side” without putting in any effort to understand. Listening to this podcast has helped me grow. I get to witness Ben and Kami consider multiple sides of an argument and thoughtfully discuss why/how they think, all without shaming anyone else’s opinions. I also get to practice this skill myself when I find that I strongly disagree with something they are talking about. I love how this podcast has challenged my beliefs and how I view the world. I wish I’d had this podcast to listen to back when I was in high school. It is incredibly refreshing to hear regular people talk about regular things like finances, raising children, relationships, school, etc in a way that makes you question everything you thought you knew. I think everybody could learn something from this family. It’s an added bonus that it feels kind of like we’re all sitting around a campfire together with a couple beers :)

I like how you have shared your story from beginning to present and still working on how to better your family dynamics for everyone to feel included. We all have options and your open to hear others but your confident in your growing beliefs. Hope you have more to share at least once a month if it works out with all the endeavors your family is involved in. Thank you.

This podcast is...gold. The thought and understanding of this podcast is beyond what a lot of adults think. It’s so good to see this couple and relationship understand the challenges, struggles, and happiness to the importance of family relationships. The way they are able to look back at their parenting and mindset and grow is something truly special. You guys never fail to make me think outside of the the norms. You are only able to do the things you make yourself do. If you want to hike the Appalachian trail with all your kids you just do it. Love it

This project done together and the built in accountability in the delivery of it is such an exercise of truth telling and deep introspective work that heals, grows, challenges and cultivates such trust and honesty. The parenting journey is such a time of personal growth and accountability. This kind of deep digging and thinking into how, and why we do and say things is the good work we need to do to become and raise better people. It is the work that challenges the status quo and cultivates self betterment. Spectacular!!!
