Hmmmm….

As a parent and mental health professional who works with children I generally find the ideas presented in this podcast to be current and spot on. However the last episode on competitiveness references all ‘he’ and ‘his’. I know the question involved a boy, but it became very irritating. C’mon, guys! It’s 2023. This is an issue with girls now, too! Let’s move out of that box!

Not So Random

When I work up wide awake and saw that it was only 11:44pm, there was nothing else to do but stay up. I “stumbled” upon this podcast and found it helpful for a few reasons. First, unity in parenting is important. Addressing behavior appropriately is equally important (redeeming v. punishing). Having a support system is valuable. Using the right language is key to helping, rather than exasperating a situation. Thank you Tim and Michael. Being from the era when these issues were dealt with inappropriately, I am thankful for sound education. God bless you for all the good this podcast will do for so many.

Interesting!

Interesting to hear a little of the brain science behind certain behaviors. Love that they take listener questions and really do a deep dive for that person, but also make it relatable to all listeners. Looking forward to hearing more.
