Great show
As an LEO myself, this is great. Steve’s a solid host and the guest are phenomenal. And of course I’ll always support a fellow Christian brother who proudly professes his faith. Keep up the great work !
I’ve enjoyed this podcast but…
I’ve enjoyed this podcast for the most part despite Steve bringing up religion here and there and his conservative life. I’m not a conservative nor am I a religious person and I can accept those that are as long as they are not trying to push their beliefs on me. I’ve continued to listen to the podcast even after some things Steve has said that I don’t agree with. I’ve continued to listen even though Steve interrupts some of his guest with his personal stories that he constantly repeats. I’ve pushed aside my feeling that Steve is of a very different political view from me. However, after listening to the beginning of the episode on June 26, 2023 with guest Seth Milligan, I will no longer continue to support TPS. This episode, to me, shows that both Steve and his guest, Seth Milligan are homophobic. Now, don’t get me wrong, everyone is welcome to their beliefs but when you have a podcast about police and one that you are constantly asking for reviews and support I would think you would tend to keep certain things from coming out of your mouth. After listening to their comments I would not trust Steve/Seth to protect me if I was part of the LGBTQ community. When you have certain feelings towards any race, religion, sexual orientation, etc.. you will be biased towards that group of people. It’s human nature! This leads me to believe that Steve is not going to go above and beyond to help those that he is biased against. They grouped the whole LGBTQ community of Seattle to be biased against police because “they” did not want police in uniforms while patrolling their PRIDE parade. How judgmental of them. They are implying that every gay person in Seattle hates the police. Not every person that participated in or attended the parade were in the decision making position regarding the police presence at the parade. When will the Steve’s and Seth’s of the world just realize that there is so much ugliness in this world why place hate on those that don’t fit into your “Christian” views. As long as a person is a good person, works hard, pays taxes, doesn’t commit crimes, etc .. why place your hate towards them? Instead why not place your hate on those people that truly deserve it, such as murderers, rapists, pedophiles, spouse abusers, tax evaders, fraudsters, sex / human traffickers, kidnappers, animal abusers, etc…. These are the type of people that deserve your hate!!! After this episode I wanted to give this review a one star but I gave it a three because I have enjoyedlļa listening to the guests stories. these stories are important for the public to hear so civilians can really comprehend the Things Police See on a daily basis!!!
