I think this podcast was canceled

I wanted to give this a chance but it’s just so annoying and not good. I thought it might bring some fun insights into the show but it’s just a complaining mess. I guess the hosts must have got distracted by something shiny and wandered into the ocean to be never heard from again. It’s really all for the best.

Somehow more entertaining than the major TV property itself

When the Orville came out to so much hype, I was confused. Was it supposed to be a satire? Was it Star Trek with fart jokes? What I found it to be was bad, a hack job that felt icky and stilted. It was far too serious to be a comedy, and too logically devoid to be good exploratory sci fi. Looking online for answers showed a lot of people loved the show and said it was great- better than new Trek even. I got even more confused, was it me? Was I just not getting why ham fisted weird gender politics, uneven world building rules, or senseless slaughtering random people and not really having anyone deal with it emotionally was... funny? I stumbled on this podcast looking for something else and have found my people. For some reason my friends have poor enough taste to like this vehicle for Seths limited imagination and self indulgence. But this podcast isn’t afraid to open the jar of pickles that is this black hole of creativity. I’m so for continuing hate watching this show, now that I know I’m not alone and confused with how this show is kept going. Great job!
