Whatnot Con / Rat City / Uncanny Valley

This week Mike and Vargas chop it up about several topics, with a much longer news segment than normal. We're talking power moves at work, Whatnot Con, X-Men blind bags, video games movies replacing comic movies, preferences for ongoings vs maxis, RIP Trina Robbins, and What if Donald Duck became Wolverine.
Then in the comics convo we're talking a lot of indie comics we liked! Rat City by Erica Schultz, Monsters are my Business by Cullen Bunn, Uncanny Valley by Tony Fleecs, Street Fighter Masters, and When the Blood has Dried on Mad Cave.

This week, Greg and Andy record without me (mike d), but I might make a weeney surprise appearance. What did they talk about? You're guess is as good as mine, I JUST SAID I WASN'T THERE!!! Feral / Morning Star / Bad Girls / The Goon

Feral / Morning Star / Bad Girls / The Goon

This week, we're talking comic book news and covering FOUR comics. Our topics include: The Thunderbolts Asterix, How lucky Marvel is to have casted Florence Pugh when they did, Bleeding Cools "Big Vague Article" claiming massive industry news is coming soon, a Joker graphic novel coming out featuring stories from around the globe, DC Elseworld reprints inbound, & X-Men books popping up in value due to X-Men 97 (cartoon) hype.

For our comics, Feral is a cat based comic from the team who brought you the indie hit Stray Dogs, Morning Star is shaping up to be an eerie family thriller out on Mad Cave, Bad Girls 1 is kind of misleading as a first issue (You should view it as a Local Man Annual), and Eric Powell's Goon returns for a new four part mini-series called "Them That Don't Stay Dead".

Just Good Friends and People…

Mike, Vargas, and Greg make you feel like you are hanging out with your long-lost friends talking comics. I used to support them on Patreon, but money is tight as my wife finishes NP school. Just know all their content is Golden!

WONDERFUL POD, WONDERFULER FOLKS

This podcast rules so hard. The show has evolved and flowed so well over my last few years enjoying it. Greg, Mike, Vargas, BK, & Kaitlyn all give unique perspectives into collecting and reading comics. They’re a group of folks who have and understanding but aren’t gatekeepers. They just share with pure joy. So welcoming, so fun, so stupid, the best.

Great Content. Typically Costs Me More Money To Listen 😂🤷‍♂️

Since they’ve been back on a regular schedule, this really has become my go-to comics podcast of late.

Humorous, concise, insightful, and irreverent. All packed into a comfy 60+/- minutes
