So You Want to Change the World

Pursuing careers and lives that create meaningful change isn’t easy. We feature interviews of Millennials succeeding at the front lines of equity and social justice work. They authentically share the stories of the challenges, successes, and setbacks they face professionally and personally. You’ll find hope, insights, and inspiration in the questions they ask of themselves, the world, and how they can create change. These young professionals share the bond of being alumni of the Thinking Beyond Borders programs, where they developed their capacities for empathy, humility, and passionate pursuit of purpose. Great education tool!

This is a great educational tool that we use with students on long bus rides. We are inspired by each of these interviewees and have good conversations afterward.
Incredible!

I listen to this podcast every week! It's amazing to hear stories of how young people - who are passionate about change and social justice - are changing the world in their unique and intentional ways. Great work and thank you for the great content.
Surprisingly Binge-worthy!

I listened to the first episode about Anthony and social justice, and as I was on a long car ride, just tore through 4 more after that! I loved hearing these millenials tell unique stories about the passions and tensions that arise in their lives. Robin's questions show how well he understands each person he interviews, and help bring out insights they may not have known they possessed. I felt like I got to know these 20-somethings; and so I respected them, and learned from them. If these are the people who will lead our society in the coming decades, I can honestly say that I am looking forward to that future.
Skeptical podcast junkie converted

I'll start by saying I was skeptical of this podcast when it was first announced. I am a podcast lover, but I worried that this one might come off as self promotional. I'm pleased to say that these first episodes have been universally relevant and poignant conversations, regardless of your involvement with Thinking Beyond Borders. The guests are grappling with really complex questions about their place in the world while engaging in work that aligns with their values. As someone who is trying to find the same, it's really helpful to hear their journeys, and to remind myself that even (especially) those who may seem like they've figured out what they want to do with their life are still struggling with questions and self reflection. Highly recommend!!
