This podcast is one of the best out there, especially for introducing everyone to local/diy music. I love that the host is from a city in the midwest that isn't focused on too much in regards to music. The guests are from all over, but the love of his local Ohio scene is clear and it's great to be introduced to all of these artists we may not have known otherwise.
Giving the podcast 5 stars since I can't give it 8.5 out of 8 stars, despite that JORDAN character in episode 21! Good golly, he was the WORST guest!!! (Just kidding, love you Jordan)
Episode 21 is the best
Jon's podcast is cool, but episode 21 featuring Jordan Valentine was clearly the best. Valentine oozes charisma that, frankly, Rogers lacks. Luckily, Rogers has a talented mentor in Valentine and stands to learn much, as do you, dear reader, as do we all. (Okay, but really, I like this podcast and the guests are pretty great. Hearing how other people write music or got started in music is really interesting. Keep up the good work, Jorda– I mean JONATHAN. Rogers, specifically.)
