    Something Something

Muggins and Cream park the tour bus and step into a reservation casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut to drink daiquiri slushies and record your first episode of the USA tour 2024. With quite literally nothing to complain about in their lives (yet) the boys do the thing they do second best. Talk about filth. Cream wants a feature on pornhub where you can see which of your friends also watched the video. Kai accidentally shows a stranger a pooping selfie over breakfast. #27

Back in the studio ever so briefly after a winding road that took them from India to the Alps the boys have a moment of tranquility before taking you to the states. Muggins considers the ethics of waking someone up when they're snoring and Cream admires the methodology of the far right. They each bring an injury home from Altitude Festival, one from fire, one from ice. #26

    Unsolicited Acts of Service

In full Indian garb Muggins and Cream offload about the persistent demands to assist them throughout their day, in a world where subtle hints, social cues, and direct "No"'s don't seem to land they shoulder the ancestral guilt of resorting to rudeness. After a brief "Happy Holi" break they return more colourful both visually and in spirit to discuss book to movie/game adaptations. #24

    No Compliment Ft. Urooj Ashfaq

After a tiring few days doing night flights to their shows in India, Muggins and Cream have a brief tired boy whinge before bringing in an antidote to their negativity, Arooj Ashfaq, who is back in Mumbai after her UK tour to tell the boys all about the cities they’re going to visit. You will remember Arooj from her appearance on the podcast at the Edinburgh fringe where she went on to win Best Newcomer at the festival. Daniel claims credit for that of course.

Funny Witty Yet ….

Read the title. It’s funny.

I enjoy listening to this while I run. It’s hilarious, brings perspective and most importantly; it’s not a podcast that is meant to be so serious.

I have had to relisten to episodes because I didn’t understand the first time but it’s not their fault I wasn’t really listening to them. It also helps that since I’m learning to become a voice actor I can hear what Scotland feels like. (It’s a joke)

Thanks for making me laugh during one of the darkest times in my life.

I love your podcast. Keep up the good work and the random words that none of us “muricans” can understand.

Consistently funny, but too woke

When I first saw Daniel Sloss’s Netflix special I went on a binge, listened to hours of this podcast and loved it. Thought he was a genius. Muggins and Cream are consistently hilarious and obviously they are very intelligent and witty. I love the way their minds work. I like especially their friendship dynamic, where Sloss has a “let it rip” attitude and Humphries is a subtle and clever manipulator of the conversation.

I gave the podcast a 5 star review but am now downgrading to 4 stars.

This past year the podcast has been hard to listen to because Daniel is tone-deaf when it comes to the biggest feminist issues of our time, the gender critical issue, and also blind to Critical Race Theory extremism. These guys are stuck in a progressive bubble. They call themselves feminists but deny cancel culture exists, complain that it is a boomer issue. I feel like they are too old to be expressing the “don’t trust anyone over 30” sentiment. Sometimes they seem to suffer from arrested development. (Fart jokes, gross discussions.) They think anyone who disagrees with them is a boomer or a conservative (not so).

I would recommend people listen to the older episodes first, especially from the beginning when they were touring, but not the post-lockdown episodes.

Muggle Corner Suggestion

I believe that it is “muggley” to have come up with the concept of “muggle corner” and then turned it into a bit for the podcast.
(I’m really stoned and definitely overthought all of that)
Yours is the only podcast I listen to.
I love you
